MINIMUM QALIFICATIONS : Patient Access Float Position

Education: High school graduate or GED required
2 years of experience required in hospital registration. Competent in billing and registration. Demonstrated knowledge of insurance requirements and practices. Knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.

Other Qualifications Must be able travel to as many locations as possible. Excellent keyboarding skills and multi-line phone, copier, and fax skills are required. You must have excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation are required. ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT coding are required for the first 6 months of employment. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication skills are required. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills are also required.
